Reloop Stand Hub

Got this stand to get some extra ports on my 13in M1 macbook without having to bring a separate hub and have it hanging off of the side of my laptop waiting to be accidentally unplugged mid set one day. I wish it was adjustable to different heights outside of what the configurations gave, but with the hub being in the legs of the stand I can see how this would be difficult to implement. The push button mechanism makes set up a breeze but on the arm that holds the laptop the holes were a tad too big on the stand I recieved. This means that there is considerable wobble back and forth of that arm when the stand is being handled, even when folded flat, the other end has the same issue but not as much. The provided short USBC to USBC cable to go from the stand into the laptop feels low quality and definitely has questionable data transfer speeds. I felt no latency with it but tracks did take a bit longer to load in serato. I have since switched it out for a better one and songs load quickly now. I suspect the other two provided cables perform similarly but I have yet to use them. Once set up though, the thing is a ROCK. With the weight of the laptop on the arms there is no wobble and virtually no flex when in regular use. The base is wide enough that the whole thing feels stable and at no risk of toppling over. The hub works great and can operate in either an active or passive mode. I dont feel any extra latency whatsoever with my controller and external hard drive with music plugged in. Having everything plugged into the stand with one short cable into the macbook to handle everything makes setup look sleek and frees up a port on the laptop for whatever else. The whole stand integrates well into a setup. I can't speak for the long term durability yet but I will be using it regularly until maybe one day the push button mechanism gives up or the hub dies. Great stand overall but for $200 I would've expected a bit better manufacturing tolerances and provided cables

This is by fay the best stand you can buy. Multi positional, multi-device friendly, and the built-in powered USB 3.0 Hub and PD charging for Computer (60watt). What more can you ask for?

I think this stand is great and absolutely what the market needs, but there are some major downsides that I cannot look past and that is why I had to return the stand. I have owned a Crane stand for almost 4 years and it still looks brand new and shines and holds my laptop just as securely as day one. The moment I pulled the Reloop stand out of the packaging there was that aluminum/metal oxidization dust on the hinges and holes that show up after some left over metal sticks around after machining since no one cleaned the product afterwards in the manufacturing process. This ruins your experience after paying so much for a "high quality" product. The push pins on the legs and laptop area got stuck on my first attempt and every attempt afterward too. The push pins feel cheap and the tolerances are not good enough causing the pins to stick when pushing them in. The entire stand is hollow and you can feel the unbalance while holding it. The holes drilled for the feet screw in are indented since the machine tolerance again are not correct and that causes defects. The hub does work really well and it charged my 16in macbook, had 2 CDJs-2000NX2, and a DJM-900NX2 and everything worked flawlessly with no latency. The USB-C cables that come included feel super cheap and are thinner than the macbooks charging cable. I do not like that the laptop cannot power the USB-C hub by itself and you have to either use a 5V charger or use the laptop charger. I would hope the next version has a 100w charger capability at least. Overall if you have a need for a USB hub - i would suggest a sturdier stand with a USB-C hub. The wobbles of this stand even while locked do not give me confidence while DJing.

This stand definitely changes my whole game no more worries if I ever leave my hub at home. And it’s a perfect stand for my S9 and phase set up.
