Rad Pads
The pinnacle feature of the DDJ-SX is easily the 16 soft-touch rubber pads for each deck. They have four banks of control in Serato DJ (which is included with the controller): Hot Cues, Loop Rolls, Slicer, and Sampler.

Transport + FX Control
Pioneer's controller has all of the controls that any DJ would need - including the CDJ-style jogwheels, extra-long pitch faders, strip search, FX controls, and even a "Dual Deck" feature for manipulating two decks simultaneously.

Four Channel Mixer
The DDJ-SX features an independent 4-channel mixer that can be used with external sources. The filters and EQ are all hardware based, so you can mix in and out of any audio source.
"The DDJ SX is an AWESOME looking controller that interfaces really well with serato. It also can be used with traktor which is a really big plus for me as I prefer traktor. DJTT is really helpful with any questions you have. Overall really happy with this controller."

"Ddj sx is fun and has everything you will need in djing. I was a traktor user but serato is very simple and easy to use. Serato plus ddj sx is a perfect match. "

"I have had the pleasure of using this bad boy for quiet a while now, and I'm pretty sure everyone knows how good it is. So I'll just rant for a bit on how F'n awesome DJTT delivery and customer service is. I'm living all the way down in New Zealand and it took 5 days from purchase to arrive at my door, no hassles, wicked! Anyone else thinking about purchasing this and that are worried about delivery etc, don't be. Also it cost me $550 less to get it from DJTT than it would of here in NZ or anywhere else in the world. Cheers DJTT!"

"What up! What up!...Okay, so i bought the ddj-sx about two weeks ago and i gotta tell ya this thing is sick..sick...SICK!! I paid $1,027.00 and that was a bit discouraging and i think i almost cried when i handed over the cash but as soon as i got this thing home and got everything in order i dropped my first set right out of the box, i instantly felt at home!! The ddj has so many features and effects that the possibilities are literally limitless there is so much room for creativity it is mind numbing and with the pioneer quality you suddenly realize why you just paid a g for this thing! I moved from 2 numark ndx-800's and a behringer ddm-4000 digital mixer and have gone completely digital with the ddj and i am totally satisfied! I give the ddj 5 out of five stars, the serato software on the other hand is ok but if you can get the mapping for traktor or vdj you may want to switch! sertao is a bit more stable as far as reliability an crashing but aesthetically its ugly and doesn't look very professional at all and i had resolution issues when hooking it up to my 40inch flat screen, i do not have that problem with vdj or traktor! All in all the ddj is totally worth the money and i am definitely satisfied! So thats my review of the ddj....dj data signing off....peace out ppl......minimal tech forever!!!"
