I purchased and an aftermarket overlay for my Arturia Minifreak, because the writing was so small that I couldn't see the parameters that I was changing. I just hated the fact that it looked so goofy. So I ripped it off and instead tried Chroma Caps. Not only do they feel absolutely amazing and grippy, but because of the amount of color options, I was able to color code every section. So now even if it's dark in my room, I can quickly look at the color I know exactly which parameter I am adjusting. And they just look so so clean. Absolutely worth the price, I bought this a while ago and the knobs have made this look like a brand new piece of equipment.

They look good and feel good. I like that they are a little bigger than stock fader caps. Only thing I wish they had was built in stoppers of some kind so they wouldn’t ever need to be adjusted when pushed down too far. Glow looks good but wish I got to experience it more often and that it lasted longer when I do. I’ve bought several though these are great.

I'll be honest, I haven't DJ'd with this yet, but I just exported 10 GB of music into my new Chroma USB and it literally took 3 minutes. Just to see how quickly it could remove and add files I took off about 4 gigs of music and put on another 2 and that was done in less than a minute. Then I put everything I had originally on there and I was done in 5 minutes. I've had to leave my computer for over an hour before to have it removed and add music to my old USB drives.

I'm never going back! Just for this, it was worth every penny!

Every new mixer/controller I get is outfitted with chroma caps and cables. The new pro faders feel and look great. Highly recommended.

I have a Rev1. Initially, I was a touch skeptical when I first saw the fader in person. These don’t use the fader locks that Pioneer uses, they press on. That’s not really a concern now, it feels just as solid/maybe even more solid than the stock fader. The little bit of extra real estate is nice too! The Black Chrome is nice on my crossfader, the finish doesn’t grab your finger when scratching but it isn’t too slippery either.
