$149.99

Designed by Ean Golden of DJ TechTools

  • Heavy-duty backpack protects gear
  • Waterproof outer shell
  • Controller pocket fits Maschine, S2, Push

Designed by Ean Golden, this Controllerist backpack is made for moving your gear in safety across town or on the road. Built to last, the bag has a laptop compartment and controller pocket.

Comfortable Carrying

The straps and bag are reinforced not only for a long-lasting bag that will survive gig after gig, but also to make sure that even a heavy load is easy on your back. The bag also has a stand-up design to keep it from falling over when resting on the ground.

Room For Everything

The Controllerist bag is surprisingly large. We've even fit the Kontrol Z2 mixer in ours in a pinch. The front + main pockets offer plenty of room for sound cards, controllers, and accessories. The dedicated controller sleeve holds a S2 / Push sized unit.

Laptop Love

Safely store your laptop in its own separate side-access zipper pocket. The pocket it neoprene lined and makes it much easier to remove just your laptop at airport security or at a gig.

What Fits:
  • The fitted controller pocket (dimensions: 18" x 12" x 3") can fit mid-size controllers like the Kontrol S2, Ableton Push, Maschine MK2 & Electrix Tweaker.
  • Spacious main pocket has lots of additional room for carrying gear and accessories from smaller controllers like Midi Fighter Pros, to sound cards, DJ mixers (a Kontrol Z2 fits!), a change of clothes, or even a stack of 12" vinyl The MF3D, MF Pro, and Spectra controllers fit perfectly in the front zipper pocket!
  • Side access neoprene laptop stow lets you access your computer without fussing with everything else in the bag
  • Wide front pocket features plenty of room for smaller gear like external drives, cards, adapters, soundcards, and more. MF3D, MF Pro, and Spectra controllers fit perfectly
  • Quick access side pocket for keys, backstage pass, ID, etc.
Construction:
  • Rigorously tested heavy-duty design to keep gear safe and protected
  • Fully waterproof outer shell and nylon inner lining, made from ripstop and graphite material
  • Weatherproof high quality industry standard zippers from YKK and break-resistant buckles

Controller DJ? You NEED this bag!

There's nothing worse than trying to figure out how you're going to get all your gear to a gig, but this pack lets you bring all your gear in one easy-to-carry package. In mine, I fit: - 13" MacBook Pro - Traktor Kontrol S5 - MIDI Fighter Twister - 2x laptop stands - 6-outlet power strip - 4x USB Chroma Cables - 3x audio Chroma Cables - Flashlight - Flash drive - Headphone adaptor - Power cables for controller and laptop ... And I clip my headphones to the shoulder straps. It fits it all, and it ensures that I don't get caught missing something at a crucial time. Love it!

The Controller Backpack V2: The Perfect Gig Bag

I luv my Backpack V2, I live in NYC(Bx) and I've been using it since it came in 2-day priority delivery. It's rugged enough for subways and the padding lined for the back is ultra comfortable. It fits my Push, Macbook, headphones, wires and Akai mpkmini nice and snug.

The Controller Backpack V2: The Perfect Gig Bag

It's a good bag, and has allowed me to keep gigging out of a single backpack. However, my brand new $4300 MacBook Pro has now hit the ground twice due to me not realizing that the side wasn't zipped out. I realize it is my fault, but this couldn't happen with a traditional top-entry backpack. Maybe make the zipper handle white so it's position is more noticing? Frankly, I can live with my $300 S2 MK3 hitting the ground than a laptop that costs more than 10x as much.

The Controller Backpack V2: The Perfect Gig Bag

It's everything I needed it to be. Holds my entire small gig setup like a champ. Would like a bigger one that can house a Roland DJ 808 or one of the bigger ones. Haven't seen any on the market like that!
