I used to use a VCI 300 mk I, and the overall levels are higher for Twitch than for the VCI 300 mk I. You can certainly rock a house party, and if you are using speakers with active monitors (say active 15 speakers with powered 15 subs and 10 inch booth monitors) levels for a gig in a conference room will be fine.
In a club, I suggest a Rane interface. The twitch is still great for preparing loops and cues for Dicers at home before the show or to use for an after party.
I suggest that a DJ seeking to use traktor with this controller look elsewhere because there are clearly better options.
I use Itch because of its simple compatibility with Serato, and I prefer to use my macbook pro (and it's 7 hour battery life) with a usb powered controller. This is the best two channel controller for Itch by a WIDE margin.
If you use Ableton, this still might be a great controller for you. Rather than the studio production metaphor of an APC or Launchpad, this uses a decks+mixer metaphor that you might find more intuitive. Novation now offers an Ableton translator which makes mapping very fast and easy.
